The Opportunity

We are looking at SAP Procure to Pay Capability lead with experience in building capabilities on the newer technology within SAP scope. Minimum Experience of 5 years in leading the SAP Procure to Pay capability is must.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Spearhead the strategic roadmap and annual competency plan for SAP P2P, aligning with evolving market trends and SAP’s innovation focus.
  • Lead upskilling and cross-skilling initiatives for functional consultants through structured training programs, workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and internal knowledge-sharing platforms, especially in niche skill areas.
  • Mentor young professionals to take on functional roles in delivery projects, fostering a pipeline of future-ready talent.
  • Provide expert SME support to stabilize and guide troubled projects, ensuring functional excellence and delivery continuity.
  • Play a key role in talent acquisition, identifying skill gaps, planning recruitment, and supporting technical panel evaluations for competency hiring.
  • Proactively manage resource deployment, monitoring bench strength and align SAP P2P consultants with project needs.
  • Establish and nurture functional communities across specialized domains such as Ariba CIG, EWM, TSW, MM LE, and WM LE—driving initiatives in upskilling, POD (Product-Oriented Delivery) design, and billing optimization.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing across teams and locations.
  • Support new deals/ pursuits and pre-sales activities, collaborating with CoE Sales teams to provide functional insights and solution expertise.
  • Partner closely with Staffing Team and other Capability leads to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, successfully managing a capability group of 2000+ professionals across multiple Indian delivery centers.
  • Adept at client engagement, including delivering presentations, leading POC development, and contributing to RFP responses.
  • Technically proficient in SAP PTP modules like MM on HANA, WM, EWM, and Ariba; with working knowledge of emerging technologies like TSW, MFS, YL, Signavio and Enable Now
  • Well-versed in SAP S/4HANA release features, with a solid understanding of cross-functional SAP modules and their integration points.

  • Possess over 20 years of industry experience, including 15 years of deep expertise in SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Bring 18+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with 5+ years leading S/4HANA transformation programs, driving capability development in emerging technologies, and mentoring talent across career paths.
  • Adept at client engagement, including delivering presentations, leading POC development, and contributing to RFP responses.
  • Technically proficient in SAP PTP modules including MM on HANA, WM, EWM, and Ariba; with working knowledge of emerging technologies like TSW and EWM on HANA.

Well-versed in SAP S/4HANA release features, with a solid understanding of cross-functional SAP modules and their integration points.
