SAP ABAP RAP

Your Role

• Design and develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Work on both managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios, including CDS view modelling and service exposure.
• Build and extend OData V2/V4 services and integrate them with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Implement backend logic using OOABAP, AMDP, and SQL on SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and UI teams for end‑to‑end solution delivery.
• Perform unit testing, code optimization, peer reviews, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Your Profile

• 4–16 years of experience in SAP ABAP & RAP development
• Strong hands‑on expertise in ABAP RAP (managed & unmanaged), CDS views, annotations, and OData service development.
• Proficient in OOABAP, AMDP, HANA‑optimized coding, and performance tuning.
• Experience in developing and extending Fiori/UI5‑ready backend services using RAP & OData V2/V4.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in requirement analysis, technical design, unit testing, and cross‑team collaboration.
