  • Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our IT team as an Active Directory and Windows Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design; implementation; maintenance; and support of our Active Directory infrastructure and Windows server environment. This role requires expertise in managing user accounts; group policies; security permissions; and ensuring the overall stability and security of our Windows-based systems.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design; implement; and support core Windows server infrastructure (Active Directory; DNS; Certificate Services; AD FS). Implement and enforce Group Policies to standardize system configurations and security settings.
  • Install and configure Windows Server environments (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022) and manage network protocols and services (TCP/IP; DHCP; DNS).� Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Produce and maintain documentation of the Windows and Active Directory environments. Implement and manage security measures to protect Windows servers from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Provide support for user authentication and authorization issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members; management; and stakeholders. Manage production support issues and ensure timely resolution. Maintain departmental security standards and document infrastructure changes. Provide training and support for junior administrators and other IT staff.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server systems and network protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting.
  • Certifications such as MCSE; ITIL; or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server systems; Active Directory; and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL change management and problem management best practices. Experience with backup technologies and cloud services (e.g.; Networker; Amazon S3; Symantec).
