Senior Software Engineer

Your Role

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using ACE/IIB, including message flows, message sets, and BAR deployments.
  • Work with business analysts, architects, and QA to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, develop solutions, and ensure quality.
  • Implement and manage SOAP/REST APIs, web services, and microservices using ESQL, Java, XSLT, JSON, XML, and JSON integration techniques.
  • Integrate messaging systems like IBM MQ (JMS), Kafka, and file-based integrations; handle data formats including EDI, HL7, Fixed-Length, and X12/EDIFACT.
  • Maintain production environments: deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, and rollback procedures.

 

Your Profile

  • Proficiency in ESQL, Java, and XSLT for data transformations.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging (MQ/JMS/Kafka), and web protocols (HTTP/SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with data formats: XML, JSON, EDI (X12, EDIFACT), HL7, CSV/fixed-length files.
  • Competency in databases (SQL, stored procedures) and message transformation workflows.
  • Familiar with development tools: Git/Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift.
  • Able to troubleshoot, optimize, and manage runtime environments.
