The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Director – SAP BTP Architect with deep expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Generative AI (Gen AI) to lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This strategic leadership role requires a blend of technical excellence, innovation mindset, and business acumen to architect intelligent, scalable, and future-ready SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the architecture & development of SAP BTP strategy leveraging SAP BTP, with a strong focus on AI/ML and Gen AI integration.
• Be a Solution lead for Large Deals.
• Architect and oversee the implementation of cloud-native, event-driven, and AI-augmented SAP solutions across business domains.
• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with business objectives, innovation goals, and industry trends.
• Drive the adoption of SAP AI Core, SAP AI Foundation, and Gen AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) within SAP landscapes.
• Lead cross-functional teams of architects, developers, and data scientists across global delivery centers.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance, security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Hands on BTP Experience
• Application Architect - should have designed and built CAP / RAP applications and should have experience in SAP technologies like ABAP, Fiori 

Required Skills

SAP & Technical Expertise

• Extensie experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) including SAP AI Core, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Event Mesh.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model, and event-driven design.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Generative AI & AI/ML Integration

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and Gen AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) into SAP applications.
• Expertise in prompt engineering, AI lifecycle management, and embedding AI into business workflows.
• Familiarity with SAP AI Foundation, SAP AI Launchpad, and orchestration of AI services.

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Proven ability to define and govern enterprise-wide architecture strategies aligned with business transformation goals.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments, hybrid deployments, and SAP extensibility models.
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred.
