Job Description

• MariaDB;MySQL;PostgreSQL database administrator
• Responsibilities; including:Database management: Ensuring the database's performance; security; and availability.
• This includes managing backups; recovery; and migration.
• Database provisioning: Setting up MySQL instances in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
• Database monitoring: Setting up monitoring and alerts to maintain the health of the database.
• Database tuning: Optimizing and tweaking server resource usage.
• Database documentation: Preparing documentation and specifications.
• User management: Issuing privileges; administering roles; adding and removing users; and changing credentials.
• Problem solving: Being able to troubleshoot and solve problems to minimize damage.
• Capacity planning: Performing capacity planning for new systems.
• Data migration: Managing data migration projects; such as migrating MySQL databases to the cloud
