Your Role

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Dev Leads to understand feature requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Define and implement squad-level roadmaps, reference architectures, naming conventions, environment setup checklists, and standardized DevOps practices.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP-native tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Artifact Registry) and third-party tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools.
  • Work with Business Analysts to break down user stories, estimate effort, and plan sprint deliverables.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and platform architecture.
  • Collaborate across squads and the Engineering guild to define and implement emerging DevOps concepts and cloud-native patterns.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between development, quality engineering, release management, and operations teams.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency using GCP tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, and Logging.
  • Ensure security and compliance through automated policies and guardrails.

Your Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
