Role Details

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in SAP ecosystems to lead enterprise-wide architecture initiatives and digital transformation programs. This Director-level role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement to align IT strategy with organizational goals across complex, global environments.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and govern the enterprise architecture strategy, with a strong emphasis on SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Industry Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite.
• SAP Certified Enterprise Architect
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP solutions across business domains including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with C-level executives and business leaders to align technology roadmaps with strategic objectives and transformation goals.
• Drive the adoption of CLEAN Core, integrating SAP with non-SAP systems and emerging technologies.
• Oversee architecture governance, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and lead a global team of solution and domain architects, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Gen AI, IoT, and RPA into the SAP landscape to drive business value.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Industry Cloud.

 

 

Required Skills

 

 

 

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture principles, including extensibility, modular deployments, and hybrid cloud models.
• Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems using API-led architecture, event-driven design, and microservices.
• Proven ability to define and govern enterprise-wide architecture strategies aligned with business transformation goals.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid SAP deployments.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, Gen AI, IoT, RPA, and data platforms within SAP and enterprise ecosystems.
• Ability to evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies into SAP roadmaps to drive innovation and agility.

• 15+ years in architecture leadership roles, managing global teams and large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong executive presence, with the ability to influence CXOs, lead strategic discussions, and drive enterprise alignment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
