Engagement Manager- Capital Market
Your Role:
- Complexity of Business: The services cover various trade validation, trade documentation, position management, internal reconciliation, P&L validation, securities processing, FX transactions monitoring, OTC derivatives, corporate actions management, tax operations, and nostro reconciliation. These services are complex and require higher-level supervision.
- Leadership and Strategic Direction: An Engagement Manager will provide necessary leadership and strategic direction to align the new business with the company's goals and objectives.
- Experience and Expertise: An Engagement Manager will bring valuable experience and expertise to navigate the complexities of the new business.
- Resource Management: Effective resource management is critical for success. A senior manager will oversee the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and technology.
- Risk Management: An Engagement Manager will identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, is essential for success.

Your Profile:
The principal activities for the Middle officer are as follows:
- Capture & Validation (or control) operations in dedicated Operational system
- Documentation of payments or securities settlements are managed correctly and in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of front and back-office activities as it pertains to GMO activities
- Resolve any discrepancies with client’s and ensure proper resolution
- Enforce levels of controls in respect to the bank guidelines
- Ensure that any issues are escalated to the team leader within an appropriate time frame
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in back-office job
- Pack Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Technical skills working with spreadsheets, databases and financial data is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Finance education for P&L officer
