About the Organization/Business Unit
The candidate will be a part of the Communications stream under MACS Agile India and will be responsible for supporting Capgemini’s social team for a specific country or sector.
Job Description:
ü Craft and manage the overall social messaging
ü Write and edit news alerts, press releases, and compile weekly newsletter
ü Prepare coverage reports and social dashboards
ü Prepare social content calendars
ü Prepare and execute social media campaigns involving targeting and retargeting of target audience
ü Maintain the Influencer Tracking List, as well as other key lists for media monitoring and country network distribution
ü Involvement in supporting key social programs: support for creative content, ideas, report launches, news announcements and fortnightly calls helping to build and execute the comms strategy
ü Support key spokespeople with briefing documents in order to prepare for social or press interviews
ü Liaise with local PR managers in countries to keep them informed of upcoming content they can leverage and facilitate Group approvals of materials
ü Liaise with an external agency to co-ordinate and support key social programs and drive results
Job Requirements
Specification / Skills / Experience
- 8+ years of communications and PR and or social media experience
- Has experience of working with a global tech major or is from an agency who has managed PR or social media for global tech companies
- Proficiency in English, a very high standard of both spoken and written language
- Independent and can self-manage the workload
- Robust writing skills - the selected candidate will be writing and editing content on a daily basis
- University degree in journalism, media studies or related qualification
- A cross-cultural background
- Ability to manage more than one project at a time working under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Specification / Skills / Experience
Primary Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, project planning, exposure to journalist calls
Secondary Skills: Understanding of digital media, tools, and metrics
o Experience in marketing automation system such as Pardot
o Analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
o Great aptitude for quick learning
