Associate Digital Asset Manager_Mumbai
Your Role
We are looking for a motivated Associate Digital Asset Manager to manage and administer our digital assets, which include a variety of CPG artwork, product shots, and brand images. This role involves organizing, storing, and retrieving media, managing digital rights and permissions, ensuring accurate metadata, and performing crucial quality assurance checks to maintain the integrity of our visual assets. A strong understanding of digital asset management practices, metadata standards, quality assurance processes, and stakeholder management is essential.
In this role you will play a key role in:

- Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct thorough quality checks on digital assets, including CPG artwork, product shots, and brand images, to ensure they meet established brand guidelines, technical specifications (e.g., resolution, file format), and are free of errors (e.g. duplicates, missing linked files, or corrupt/missing high-resolution versions, missing rights, etc.) before being ingested into the DAM or within DAM.
- Metadata Management: Develop and maintain metadata schemas and tagging systems to accurately describe and categorize digital assets, ensuring consistency and ease of searchability. (proper labeling, naming, classification).
- File Review and Classification: Review, classify, and organize digital assets according to established guidelines to ensure they are easily accessible and properly stored within the DAM system.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Design, Production, others) and external stakeholders to gather new assets, understand their requirements, and ensure they meet set standards and DAM specifications.
- Data Management: Oversee the integrity and security of digital assets within the DAM, ensuring proper data management practices, version control, and adherence to digital rights and permissions.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicate QA findings, asset status, and DAM processes to team members and stakeholders to facilitate the efficient use and management of digital assets.
- High Level of Detail and Organization: Maintain a meticulous level of accuracy and organization in managing digital assets, associated metadata, and QA documentation.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage and catalog large volumes of diverse digital assets, including complex artwork files and high-resolution images.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and software, and an understanding of various digital file formats and their specifications.
- Attention to detail: Exceptional ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and deviations from standards in visual assets and metadata.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with various teams and potentially training staff on DAM processes and quality standards.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to work effectively with different departments and external partners, understanding their needs and ensuring the DAM meets those requirements.
- Quality Assurance Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough quality checks on visual assets, identifying potential errors or inconsistencies related to file integrity, technical specifications, and brand guidelines. Understanding of common issues in artwork and image production (e.g., flattened files, missing elements, resolution problems).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a corporate enterprise environment, particularly with marketing or creative assets.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices related to digital asset accessibility.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday) for tracking tasks and communicating progress.
- Desired background or studies in: Marketing, Design, Digital Advertising or Creatives, Artwork Production, or Printed Materials. This background is beneficial for understanding the nuances of the visual assets being managed and ensuring quality standards are met.
