Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration & Upgrades:
Manage, maintain, and support core enterprise systems including SAP Business Objects (BO 4.X) and SAP Data Services / Data Integrator.
Lead application upgrades, patch management, and optimization initiatives for the SAP BO platform.
Ensure secure, efficient, and scalable infrastructure solutions across multi-platform environments.
Support deployment architectures involving thick, thin, and web client application development.

ETL & Data Integration Development:
Design, develop, and maintain Data Integrator / Data Services Jobs, Data Flows, and Workflows to support data synchronization across disparate enterprise systems.
Monitor automated schedules and troubleshoot system integration faults to maintain consistent data flows.
Apply a strong understanding of system architecture to map and optimize data warehouse structures.

Universe Design & BI Reporting:
Design and develop new enterprise universes from scratch using the Information Design Tool (IDT).
Modernize legacy reporting environments by successfully converting universes from Universe Design Tool (UDT) to IDT.
Build, enhance, and distribute analytical dashboards and operational reports utilizing SAP Business Objects, or similar BI tools.

Collaboration & User Support:
Collaborate actively with cross-functional technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated data solutions.
Provide tiered support, technical documentation, and tool training to users across various business departments.

Job Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in system support, architecture, and development specifically within SAP BO 4.X environments.
Proven experience managing end-to-end application lifecycles, upgrades, and universe migrations.

Technical Skills:
Databases: Strong understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database management systems.
Scripting Automation: Proficiency utilizing Perl, Shell Scripts, and PowerShell to automate server processes and data tasks.
Operating Systems: Direct working experience administering environments in both Linux and Windows server platforms.
Architecture: Firm grasp of enterprise system architecture, server performance tuning, and access security.

Core Competencies:
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills combined with a professional client service mindset.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team of technical professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Be the SME of a business line technology team responsible for owning and executing delivery of solutions to address the business' needs.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand the business objectives and functional requirements necessary to perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
Elicit, capture and interpret business problems from multiple perspectives; present implications and recommendations with strategic perspective, influencing project parameters and outcomes.
Perform requirements gathering, solution design, functionality development, user acceptance testing, training, and deployment.
Develop requirements, write user stories, and design user interfaces of any new functionality that can be understood and built by the development team.
Understand the data model and architecture, and define data structures to enable new system functionality.
Evaluate the suitability of existing/potential tools to fulfill business needs.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 75,000 - 83,335.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
