Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) gestionnaire de projets PLM qui sera responsable de diriger la planification, l’exécution et la livraison des initiatives de gestion du cycle de vie des produits (PLM) au sein de l’organisation. Dans ce rôle, vous assurerez l’alignement entre les objectifs d’affaires, les processus d’ingénierie et les systèmes TI en pilotant les implantations, mises à niveau et intégrations des solutions PLM. Vous agirez comme un point de liaison entre les différentes parties prenantes (ingénierie, fabrication, chaîne d’approvisionnement et TI), en veillant à ce que les projets soient livrés dans les délais, selon la portée définie et le budget, tout en contribuant à la standardisation des processus et à la transformation numérique.

Votre rôle

  • Diriger l’ensemble du cycle de vie des projets PLM (démarrage, planification, exécution, suivi et clôture).
  • Définir la portée, les objectifs, les livrables, les échéanciers et les besoins en ressources du projet.
  • Coordonner des équipes multidisciplinaires incluant l’ingénierie, les TI, la fabrication et les fournisseurs externes.
  • Gérer les implantations, mises à niveau, migrations et intégrations des systèmes PLM avec les systèmes ERP, CAD et autres systèmes d’entreprise.
  • Animer des ateliers afin de recueillir et documenter les besoins d’affaires, puis les traduire en spécifications fonctionnelles et techniques.
  • Suivre l’avancement des projets, identifier les risques et enjeux, et mettre en place des plans d’atténuation.
  • Assurer le respect des normes de gouvernance, de qualité et des meilleures pratiques en déploiement PLM.
  • Communiquer l’état d’avancement, les jalons et les risques aux parties prenantes et à la haute direction.
  • Piloter les activités de gestion du changement, incluant l’engagement des utilisateurs, la formation et les stratégies d’adoption.
  • Gérer les budgets, les contrats et les relations avec les partenaires externes et intégrateurs de systèmes.
  • Soutenir les initiatives d’amélioration continue et l’optimisation des processus PLM après leur mise en œuvre.

Vos compétences et votre expérience

  • Expérience démontrée en gestion de projets (méthodologies Agile, Waterfall ou hybrides).
  • Bonne connaissance des concepts PLM (BOM — nomenclature, gestion des changements, gestion des données produit, flux de cycle de vie).
  • Expérience avec une ou plusieurs plateformes PLM (ex. : Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA).
  • Solide compréhension des processus de développement de produits dans des environnements axés sur l’ingénierie.
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion des parties prenantes et en collaboration interfonctionnelle.
  • Forte capacité d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Expérience en intégration de systèmes (écosystèmes PLM–ERP–CAD).
  • Capacité à traduire des besoins d’affaires en spécifications techniques.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en présentation.
  • Certifications en gestion de projets (p. ex. : PMP, PRINCE2) ou expérience équivalente.

  • Expérience en transformation numérique ou initiatives Industrie 4.0.

About the job you're considering

We are seeking a PLM Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives across the organization. Within this role, you will ensure alignment between business objectives, engineering processes, and IT systems by managing PLM implementations, upgrades, and integrations. You will act as a bridge between cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while driving process standardization and digital transformation.

Your role

  • Lead end-to-end PLM project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, manufacturing, and external vendors.
  • Manage PLM system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, quality standards, and best practices in PLM deployment.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive change management activities including user engagement, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and relationships with external partners and system integrators.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of PLM processes post-implementation.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in project management (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).
  • Strong knowledge of PLM concepts (BOM, change management, product data management, lifecycle workflows).
  • Experience with one or more PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA).
  • Solid understanding of product development processes in engineering-driven environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in systems integration (PLM–ERP–CAD ecosystems).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.

Nice To have

  • Experience in digital transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies and data governance principles.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices or Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Experience with cloud-based PLM solutions.
  • Background in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, or software engineering).
  • Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or customization within PLM systems.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD $70,751 - $165,984/Year

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
