Capgemini Engineering recherche un Responsable d’Engagement (Engagement Manager) pour piloter des projets dans l’industrie Aéronautique et Défense.
L’objectif principal est d’atteindre l’excellence opérationnelle sur l’ensemble des projets et de garantir la performance attendue tout en assurant la satisfaction du client. Le périmètre comprend la gestion de programme pour un ou plusieurs projets d’ingénierie aéronautique.
Ce poste fait partie de l’organisation de livraison (Delivery Organization) de Capgemini Engineering Amérique du Nord et sera rattaché au Responsable Exécutif de Livraison / Responsable de Compte de l’unité Aéronautique et Défense.
Votre rôle
- Gérer des projets aéronautiques (projets d’ingénierie de structures aéronautiques et de systèmes) avec une vision complète du cycle de vie du produit.
- Comprendre le périmètre technique et être capable d’optimiser les méthodes de travail.
- Posséder des connaissances techniques des processus de conception mécanique et des analyses de contraintes (stress analysis) appliquées aux structures aéronautiques.
- Gérer les exigences contractuelles.
- Être le point de contact principal du client pour ce portefeuille de projets.
- Coordonner les ressources internes en collaboration avec l’Engineering Manager.
- Être responsable des livraisons dans les délais, avec le niveau de qualité attendu, dans le respect du périmètre et du budget.
- Assurer la disponibilité et l’affectation des ressources.
- Définir les objectifs des projets en impliquant toutes les ressources pertinentes et en garantissant leur faisabilité technique.
- Élaborer un plan de projet détaillé et assurer le suivi et le contrôle de son exécution.
- Utiliser les techniques de vérification appropriées pour gérer les modifications de périmètre, de planning et de coûts.
- Mesurer la performance des projets à l’aide des systèmes, outils et techniques adaptés.
- Assurer le reporting et escalader les sujets à la direction si nécessaire.
- Mettre en œuvre une gestion des risques afin de minimiser l’impact des risques projet.
- Établir et maintenir des relations avec les clients et l’ensemble des parties prenantes.
- Créer et maintenir une documentation projet complète.
- Comprendre le périmètre technique et être capable d’optimiser les méthodes de travail.
- Être habitué à travailler en mode catalogue de services, avec un suivi étroit de l’efficacité et de la rentabilité.
- Maîtriser les outils commerciaux de gestion de projet tels que JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, etc.
- Être habitué à travailler sur des projets internationaux avec des équipes réparties sur différents fuseaux horaires et dans des environnements multiculturels.
Vos compétences et votre expérience
- Formation d’ingénieur, de préférence dans l’un des domaines suivants : génie mécanique, aéronautique, ingénierie des systèmes, développement de méthodes et d’outils.
- Expérience dans un environnement de conseil en ingénierie et/ou chez un constructeur aéronautique (OEM) fortement souhaitée.
- Excellentes compétences en communication avec les clients et les équipes internes.
- Excellentes compétences de communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais.
- Solides compétences organisationnelles, avec une grande attention aux détails et la capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément.
- Minimum 7 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de l’ingénierie.
- Expérience en gestion de projets dans l’industrie aéronautique.

Capgemini Engineering is looking for an Engagement Manager for managing projects in Aerospace and Defense Industry.
The main objective is to reach operational excellence for all our projects and to ensure the right performance with customer satisfaction. Scope includes program management for projects for one or more Aerospace Engineering projects.
This position is part of Capgemini Engineering North America Delivery Organization and would report to Account Delivery Head/Executive of Aerospace and Defense delivery unit.
Your Role
- Manage aerospace projects (Airframe and System Engineering projects) with a complete view from product life cycle.
- Understand the technical scope and be able to optimize the way of working.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical design process and stress analysis for airframe.
- Manage contract requirements.
- Be the focal point for our customer on this project portfolio,
- Coordinate internal resources with Engineering Manager,
- Accountable for on-time deliveries, on quality, within scope and budget;
- Ensure resource availability and allocation;
- Develop project objectives, involving all relevant resources and ensuring technical feasibility;
- Develop a detailed project plan and monitor/control project execution
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage project scope, schedule and costs changes;
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed;
- Perform risk management to minimize the impact of project risks;
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Understand the technical scope and be able to optimize the way of working
- Used to work in service catalogue mode, with close tracking of efficiency and profitability
- Familiar with PM commercial tools as JIRA, MS Project, Sharepoint, …
- Used to work in transnational projects with team based on different time zones and cultures
Your Skills and Experience
- Engineering background, preferably in following engineering fields: Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Methods and Tools development.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy environment and/or Aircraft OEM preferred
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the engineering field.
- Project management experience in the aeronautics Industry
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is CAD $76,336 - $166,552 / year.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
