Job Description
The team develops applications to provide services for Wes Regulatory Reporting groups to report and file important disclosures to regulatory bodies across the globe
These applications include highly flexible and scalable Java services large scale computational processing of datasets warehouse reporting Axiom regulatory reporting tool The technology team practices agile development and uses a multitude of languages including Java Python SQL etc The team is working a fronttoback initiative to replatform and renovate key streams of data It addresses regulatory and audit findings thematically providing an efficient framework for better control and reporting over time
The objectives of the projects include
Consolidate data sourcing integration and verification across Control Functions to ensure consistent controlled and auditable outputs
Onboard and configure Axiom solution templates for regulatory reports eg 14A DFAST SEC FOCUS Brazil DLO SPED including mapping validation and deployment support
Analyze platform hygiene and DevOps gaps and define a prioritized remediation plan standards CICD monitoring environment controls
Implement and optimize business logic and data transformations using ScalaSpark with testing and performance considerations
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPIs data quality reconciliations SLAoperational metrics with reliable refreshes
You will be expected to work as a member of the development team and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle with automated testing tools and shared libraries development The ideal candidate will possess solid technical and problem solving skills as well as the drive to learn more about the business and new technologies Candidate should be open to work from front to back on applications and must have a sound grasp of development best practices and system architecture
You will be expected to drive standardization and architecture discussion across the team and be responsible for high quality implementations Expertise in any one of the following business domain would be preferable Regulatory Accounting Finance and Control Functions This position requires working closely with the localglobal project manager colleagues and internal clients within Finance The candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to postrelease and ongoing L3 support as escalation point
Required Skills
2Experience with Azure cloud technologies such as Databricks
Database experience such as SQL RDBMS platform like Snowflake DB preferred Postgres
PythonScripting
software development experience in JavaScala
Experience incorporating AIassisted development tools eg GitHub Copilot Claude with an engineering approach
Bachelors or related field experience

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 to 1,00,000
