Responsabilités principales
Conception et développement des intérieurs
- Développer et maintenir les conceptions d’intérieurs d’aéronefs, de la phase conceptuelle jusqu’à la définition détaillée.

Revues de conception et maturité
- Participer aux revues de conception et aux jalons de programme, en présentant des concepts, des aménagements et des solutions détaillées.
- Évaluer la faisabilité des conceptions ainsi que leur conformité aux exigences techniques, de sécurité et réglementaires.
- Intégrer les commentaires des équipes d’ingénierie, d’intégration, de certification et de fabrication dans les mises à jour de conception.
Collaboration multidisciplinaire
- Interagir avec les équipes d’intégration des intérieurs, d’ingénierie des systèmes, des structures, de la sécurité et de la certification afin d’assurer la compatibilité et l’intégration des conceptions.
- Coordonner avec les fournisseurs et partenaires externes pour aligner l’intention de conception avec les contraintes techniques, industrielles et de fabrication.
- Soutenir la communication entre les parties prenantes en conception, ingénierie et gestion de programme.
Soutien aux changements et alignement de la configuration
- Appuyer les modifications de conception tout au long du cycle de vie du produit, incluant celles découlant des exigences du programme, du client ou de la réglementation.
- Fournir des intrants de conception pour les demandes de changement (p. ex., PCR / RFC) et participer aux analyses d’impact, au besoin.
- Veiller à ce que les mises à jour de conception demeurent alignées avec les bases de configuration et les objectifs du programme.
Documentation et normes
- Produire et maintenir la documentation de conception, y compris les aménagements, dessins, maquettes et présentations liés aux intérieurs d’aéronefs.
- S’assurer que les conceptions respectent les normes internes, les règlements de l’industrie et les exigences de certification.
- Contribuer aux données de conception nécessaires aux activités de certification, de qualification et de conformité.
Ce que vous apportez
Formation
- Baccalauréat en design industriel, en design de produits, en génie aérospatial, en génie mécanique ou dans une discipline connexe
Expérience
- Expérience en conception d’intérieurs d’aéronefs, en aménagement de cabine ou en conception de produits aérospatiaux
- Familiarité avec les intérieurs de cabine tels que les sièges, cuisines (galleys), toilettes (lavatories), modules (monuments) et habillages de cabine
- Une expérience dans un environnement réglementé axé sur la certification est un atout
Compétences techniques
- Maîtrise des outils de conception assistée par ordinateur (CAD), notamment CATIA V5, et des outils de design utilisés en aérospatiale ou en design industriel

About the Role You're Considering
The Aircraft Interior Designer is responsible for the conceptual and detailed design of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring functional, aesthetic, ergonomic, and regulatory compliance with applicable aviation standards. This role focuses on developing interior layouts and components—including cabins, seats, galleys, lavatories, and monuments—while collaborating closely with engineering, integration, suppliers, and program teams to support aircraft development and customization.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design & Development
- Develop and maintain aircraft interior designs from concept through detailed definition.
- Create interior layouts and component designs for cabin zones, seating, galleys, lavatories, monuments, linings, and related interior elements.
- Ensure designs meet ergonomic, aesthetic, functional, and customer requirements.
- Support cabin customization and customer‑specific interior solutions where required.
Design Reviews and Maturity
- Participate in design and program milestone reviews, presenting design concepts, layouts, and detailed solutions.
- Review design feasibility and compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Incorporate feedback from engineering, integration, certification, and manufacturing teams into design updates
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Interface with interior integration, systems engineering, structures, safety, and certification teams to ensure design compatibility and integration.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to align design intent with technical, industrial, and manufacturing constraints.
- Support communication between design, engineering, and program management stakeholders.
Change Support & Configuration Alignment
- Support design changes throughout the product lifecycle, including updates driven by program, customer, or regulatory requirements.
- Provide design inputs for change requests (e.g., PCRs / RFCs) and support change impact assessments as required.
- Ensure design updates remain aligned with configuration baselines and program objectives.
Documentation & Standards
- Produce and maintain design documentation, layouts, drawings, mock‑ups, and presentations related to aircraft interiors.
- Ensure designs comply with internal design standards, industry regulations, and certification requirements.
- Contribute design data to certification, qualification, and compliance documentation.
What you Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in either Industrial Design, Product Design, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Experience in aircraft interior design, cabin layout development, or aerospace product design.
- Familiarity with cabin interiors such as seating, galleys, lavatories, monuments, and cabin linings.
- Experience working in a regulated, certification‑driven environment is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with CAD (CATIA V5) and design tools used in aerospace or industrial design environments.
- Understanding of ergonomic principles, materials, and manufacturing considerations for aircraft interiors.
- Working knowledge of aviation safety and certification constraints impacting interior design.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong creativity balanced with technical problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multidisciplinary teams.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.

Language

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $62,874.00 - $165,758.00
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
