Senior Consultant - Financial Planning and Analysis OneStream Trainer

Role Overview

This role is part of a global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process and technology transformation that includes migration of operations to OneStream. The FP&A Trainer will be responsible for driving adoption of the future state planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes implemented in OneStream. This includes educating client superusers, end-users, and internal teams on OneStream capabilities and defined processes. 

The trainer would act as a bridge between the technical OneStream expertise from the product team and the functional working needs of client end users. This would involve close work and knowledge transfer with functional and technical consultants on the project to understand the customizations that have been made to the standard platform. The trainer would also need to develop and maintain training materials that would be leveraged for learning (hands-on system demonstration and business process walkthrough) sessions with the business users and often include PowerPoint instructor guides, classroom for hands-on practice, quick reference guides, competency test questions, etc. to be used for training / knowledge sustainment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Support and deliver business-oriented training on OneStream FP&A to end users 
•    Lead training content development and delivery for all identified topics 
•    Develop quick reference guides, videos, and other training collateral addressed to business users, if needed
•    Create and maintain learning plans relevant to the end user personas
•    Coordinate with team members and client counterparts for training set-up and execution activities including scheduling, participation, logistics, and reporting
•    Collaborate closely with functional and technical consultants to understand the configurations of the platform
•    Understand and deliver training on integrations of OneStream with other existing systems in the FP&A process
•    Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually
•    Open to travel (if needed) to global client locations

 

Skills and Qualifications:

•    Experience: 3+ years in leading development and delivery of FP&A training in OneStream
•    FP&A Process Knowledge: Hands-on experience with planning and forecasting activities or in-depth knowledge of FP&A operations
•    Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication. Ability to convey complex and technical information in a manner accessible to non-technical individuals.
•    Learning and Development: Willingness to learn and adapt to new training methodologies, deliverable types, and products.
•    Customer Interaction: Ability to engage with clients and understand their training needs. Customer service orientation.
•    Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and ask questions. Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
•    Instructional Design: Proficiency in designing effective and professional training content.
•    Willingness to travel for on-site training engagements and work across time zones

 

Other Considerations:
•    Valid Onstream certification (OneStream Certified Associate, Professional, or Specialist)
•    Valid financial planning certification (e.g., FPAC, FPAP, FPAMC, etc.)

Work Environment

Hybrid: 3 days Onsite and depending on client expectations

Travel: Up to 20% (across US and Canada)

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 86,000  - CAD 190,630.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
