Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Lead to drive HR digital transformation initiatives through the design, implementation, integration, and support of SAP SuccessFactors solutions. The successful candidate will provide strategic and functional leadership across the full project lifecycle, partnering with HR leadership, business stakeholders, system integrators, and technical teams to deliver scalable and best-practice HR solutions.

This role requires deep expertise across the SAP SuccessFactors suite, proven experience leading global HR transformation programs, and a strong background in the Utilities industry. The SAP SuccessFactors Lead will be responsible for solution architecture, business process optimization, stakeholder engagement, governance, implementation delivery, and ongoing enhancements while ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. SAP SuccessFactors Leadership & Solution Delivery
    • Lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP SuccessFactors solutions across multiple HR functional areas.
    • Provide end-to-end leadership for SAP SuccessFactors implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
    • Define solution architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise HR and IT strategies.
    • Conduct fit-to-standard workshops and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
    • Recommend industry-leading HR technology solutions and drive process standardization.
  2. Business Process Transformation
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to optimize talent management and core HR processes.
    • Lead HR transformation initiatives covering workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, learning, compensation, and workforce analytics.
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best-practice SAP SuccessFactors capabilities.
  3. Integration & Technical Oversight
    • Lead integration design and strategy for SAP SuccessFactors with:
      • SAP S/4HANA
      • SAP HCM
      • Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
      • Third-party payroll solutions
      • Enterprise applications and external platforms
    • Oversee Integration Center, CPI, API, and SAP Integration Suite implementations.
    • Support data migration, data conversion, validation, and system cutover activities.
  4. Governance, Testing & Deployment
    • Establish solution governance and ensure compliance with project delivery standards.
    • Lead system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
    • Manage release planning, production support, and stabilization efforts.
    • Ensure proper documentation, issue resolution, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
    • Build strong relationships with executives, HR leaders, business users, and technical teams.
    • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project team members and consultants.
    • Support organizational change management activities, training initiatives, and user adoption programs.
    • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.
  • Candidates must have significance experience within the Utilities sector
  • Proven experience leading at least three (3) full end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale global HR transformation programs.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), SAP Signavio, and HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading global, multi-country SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
  • Knowledge of payroll integrations and cloud-based HR ecosystems.
  • Experience managing distributed project teams and external system integrators.
  • Strong experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HCM, Employee Central Payroll, and third-party HR/payroll systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in solution architecture, implementation strategy, and governance.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and leadership skills.

Work Arrangement

  • Location: Ajax, Ontario (Hybrid)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite at the client location in Ajax, ON and 2 days remote

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $91,599 - $214,896 CAD.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
