We're seeking a skilled and experienced MicroStrategy Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy development and administration, as well as a solid foundation in data warehousing and analytics. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performing BI solutions to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement MicroStrategy schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and application objects (reports, dashboards) using MicroStrategy Desktop and Architect.
  • Develop interactive and visually engaging dashboards and reports with advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Perform MicroStrategy administration tasks including user setup, security configuration, and platform upgrades.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across MicroStrategy applications.
  • Integrate data from SQL Server, Teradata, flat files, and other external sources.
  • Apply best practices in BI architecture, star schema modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in MicroStrategy development and administration.
  • 7+ years of experience with data visualization and BI tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Teradata, and integration services.
  • Deep understanding of star schema design, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
