Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated campus hires to join our Integration Engineering team. In this role, you will learn and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integrations, API-led connectivity, and cloud-based integration solutions.

As an Integration Developer, you will gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato and IBM Sterling, along with modern messaging systems and AI-assisted engineering tools. You will be exposed to real-world integration scenarios including API development, data transformation, event-driven architecture, automation, and intelligent observability, helping you build a strong foundation in both Integration Engineering and AI-driven development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of integration flows, APIs, orchestrations, and workflows using tools like MuleSoft Anypoint Studio,      Boomi Process Builder, and Sterling maps/workflows.

  •    Assist in setting up and configuring integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and IBM Sterling, including environment preparation, API gateways, connectors, and runtime components.

  •    Support the adoption of AI-enabled and Agentic AI solutions within integration workflows, such as automated mapping, documentation generation, testing, and monitoring.

  •    Help configure and maintain integration dashboards and health-monitoring reports using tools like Anypoint Monitoring, Boomi Dashboard, and IBM Sterling Control Center.

  •    Collaborate with integration developers, architects, and platform teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of integration services and API-led solutions.

  •    Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, supporting automated builds, testing, and release processes.

  •    Gain exposure to Develops practices by assisting with security scans, policy enforcement, and compliance checks within integration delivery pipelines.

 

Required Qualifications:

  •      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  •      Basic understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), HTTP methods, request/response structures, and API documentation.

  •       Familiarity with JSON, XML, YAML, and data transformation concepts.

  •      Knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, or similar.

 

Preferred Skills:

  •      Awareness of integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or IBM Sterling (academic/intro-level exposure acceptable).

  •      Foundational understanding of cloud concepts (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integration runtimes.

  •      Basic understanding of messaging systems (JMS, MQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).

  •      Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

  •      Basic knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps principles, version control (Git), and environment management.

  •      Familiarity with SQL and database fundamentals.

  •      Awareness of AI/GenAI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) used for development assistance.

  •      Interest or exposure to Agentic AI, automated testing, and AI-assisted code/mapping generation (added advantage).

    •    Networking fundamentals.

    •    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

    •    Strong problem-solving skills

 

Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional for Freshers)

  •      Hands-on experience (projects, labs, internships) with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Boomi AtomSphere, Workato or IBM Sterling Integrator.

  •      Exposure to observability tools such as Anypoint Monitoring or similar dashboards.

  •      Understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and publish-subscribe patterns.

  •      Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, PowerShell).

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $60,000 - $80,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
