What you’ll do?

• Understanding relational database concepts, their architecture
• Good knowledge of operating system commands including Unix MS
• Good knowledge of Perl Shell scripting, Powershell, etc.
• Experience in installing patches, cloning and maintaining different versions of databases.
• Knowledge of various database backup tools and utilities.
• Experience installing client software as per requests
• 5 or more years of experience with large and transactional databases in production.
• Extensive knowledge and experience implementing or supporting Oracle Cluster
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle Golden Gate.
• Management of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Knowledge Proficient in Oracle RAC
• Knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Knowledge proficient in ITIL V3 or V4
• Knowledge in Oracle Golden Gate
• English Fluent

What you’ll bring:

• Monitoring database objects for space issues
• Check availability of database status
• Maintain a knowledge base for known issues and share knowledge with other DBAs
• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Databases, such as user administration, Data File Management, tablespaces archives. Administration of application and database users.
• DBA maintenance jobs and scripts.
• Utilization Monitoring Run database growth monitoring scripts
• Provide primary out-of-hours support for P2 issues Maintain support documentation Monitoring minor or medium changes to simple scripts
