Tech Risk Business Analyst

Your Role

As a Technical Risk Business Analyst, you will play a key role in providing outcome-focused risks and controls assessments that influences Technology risks oversight over projects and portfolios.

 In this role you will play a key role in:

• Domain Knowledge: Credit risk metrics, regulatory processes (stress testing, IFRS9, regulatory capital).
• Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and transformation projects.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis; SAS coding experience preferred.
• Testing & Delivery: Hands-on experience with UAT, SIT, and Agile/hybrid delivery models.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and negotiation skills across business and technology teams.
• Change Management: Ability to anticipate operational impacts and ensure business readiness.
• Tools Proficiency: JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office suite.
• Communication Skills: Clear documentation and presentation abilities; visual communication for diagrams/slides.
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset; ability to guide junior analysts and foster positive team culture.

Your Profile

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain great relationship with diverse stakeholders
• Prior experience in project risk management
• 7+ years financial services experience in risk, compliance, assurance or audit
• Knowledgeable in NFR Hub and other risk toolkits
• Technology/information security/Cloud experience
• Good Knowledge of Excel skills, with an eye for details
