Sr Automation Engineer
Your Role
The Intermediate Automation Test Engineer independently delivers scalable automation solutions across UniSuper’s integrated landscape, contributing to enterprise objectives for measurable quality and accelerated delivery through robust, maintainable automation.
This role owns automation for assigned domains/features, improves suite reliability and execution performance, and strengthens CI/CD integration.
You will play a key role in:
- Design and implement maintainable automation solutions using TOSCA and/or Selenium (C#), following agreed naming/structure and reusable patterns.
- Independently automate complex desktop, web, and mobile journeys, including end‑to‑end flows and regression coverage.
- Build and maintain API and integration automation, ensuring stable validations and meaningful assertions
- Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot pipeline/test failures, and improve reliability and execution time.
- Perform strong data validation using SQL DB techniques and applied understanding of ODS-based flows and synchronisation impacts.
- Contribute to automation uplift where baseline scripts are impacted by change; maintain suites to reduce ongoing technical debt
- Provide peer reviews and mentoring to junior automation engineers; contribute to CoP knowledge sharing and consistency.
Your Profile
- 4–8 years of test automation experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise with TOSCA .
- Solid experience integrating automation into CI/CD with quality gates and automated execution reporting.
- Strong SQL capability for complex validations (joins, reconciliation logic, stored procedure outputs)
- Practical understanding of ODS concepts and how ODS supports operational/transactional data shared across systems
- Experience automating mobile apps (or critical mobile flows)
- Strong debugging, analysis, and automation framework design skills
