ServiceNow Developer/SME

Your Role

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience across core ServiceNow modules and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a client-facing environment. The successful candidate will contribute to solution design and delivery, with opportunities to grow into broader architectural responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities:-

•            Develop, test and implement solutions in the ServiceNow platform based on Business Requirement Specifications

•            Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

•            Maintain platform security, SLAs, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and integration

•            Participate in client workshops, demos, and solution walkthroughs.

•            Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

•            Document technical designs and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

•            Other duties as directed by ServiceNow Lead.

 

Your Profile

Experience and Qualifications:

•            6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

•            Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.

•            Experience in ServiceNow module: ITSM, ITOM, IRM, and GRC (AnyOne)

•            Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a delivery-focused environment.

•            Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

•            ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS in any module).

•            Experience in Agile delivery environments.

•            Familiarity with integration methods (REST, SOAP, etc.).

•            Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: Client Scripts, JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Glide API and Server-side scripting

•            Proficiency in Configuration & Customization: Creating and managing Catalog Items, Workflows, and Approvals, Customizing Forms, Lists, and UI Pages

•            Proficiency in Integration & API Skills: Building and managing REST/SOAP integrations, and familiarity with MID Server and integration patterns

•            Experience in Service Portal development and customization, Flow Designer and Integration Hub

•            Preferred Skills:

-Exposure to Domain Separation and Multi-tenant architecture

-Knowledge of Scoped Applications

-Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and patching

-Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices and coding standards
