Senior SAP Solution Architect - Supply Chain

Your role:

Capgemini’s Package Based Solutions (PBS) business is a specialised practice focused on designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise applications, with a strong emphasis on platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, and Oracle.

As a Senior SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect, you will be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, ideally holding (or eligible to obtain) security clearance, and based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, solution design, system configuration, and documentation
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert functional and solution guidance
• Provide direction to clients and functional teams on emerging capabilities, ensuring they are leveraged to deliver business value
• Lead a functional workstream, ensuring delivery quality, timely issue resolution, and alignment with project timelines
• Engage in detailed design and execution when required, applying leading-practice processes and SAP system expertise
• Lead or support the development of supply chain components within business cases to inform program roadmaps and timelines
• Build and lead capability areas, including setting strategic direction, hiring, and supporting career development
• Support business development activities, including effort estimation, Statement of Work (SoW) development, and presenting to client stakeholders

Your profile:

• Functional specialist with extensive experience in SAP Supply Chain
• 15+ years of project experience, including at least five full end-to-end implementation cycles
• Deep expertise across SAP, with a strong focus on supply chain solutions
• Advanced functional knowledge of SAP MM, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Experience with SAP SD, IBP, and/or EWM is highly regarded
• Proven ability to independently build and manage strong business stakeholder relationships
• Solid understanding of project methodologies and delivery phases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated experience in functional lead and solution architect roles
• Industry experience across FMCG, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Energy, and/or Government sectors
