Your Role
As a Senior Business Analyst in our Connectivity & Network Practice, you will be analysing data to improve systems and processes, and documenting requirements for projects. You’ll ensure that business needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable technical solutions, supporting efficiency and profitability across telecom operations.
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Hobart.
You will play a key role in:
- Requirements Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders using workshops, interviews, and document analysis.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze telecom usage, performance metrics, and costs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Process and System Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify gaps and propose solutions that increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Liaison and Communication: Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive work products, including technical specifications, process maps, use cases, and status reports.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, coordination, and quality assurance activities, supporting project managers and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reporting: Develop and generate reports for stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Your Profile
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in business analysis, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including advanced spreadsheet use.
- Telecom Knowledge: Understanding of telecom systems such as Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Network functions, Service Assurance, OSS, and BSS.
- Documentation Skills: Proficiency in documenting business processes and system requirements.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Impact Assessment: Ability to understand and assess the impact of system changes on business processes.
- Agile Experience: Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
