Senior Azure DevOps / Platform Automation Engineer

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer for either our Melbourne or Sydney team to design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using Azure cloud services and modern DevOps practices.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environmentsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud systems
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services
  • Manage and deploy containerized applications using DockerWork with container platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances (ACI)
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track application and infrastructure performance
  • Ensure deployments follow best practices in security, governance, and compliance
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment workflows

 

Your Experience

  • Azure DevOps Expertise - deep knowledge of pipelines, boards, repos, and test plans
  • Azure Cloud Services - strong experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - proficiency in Terraform or ARM templates
  • Solid experience designing and managing pipelines - CI/CD
  • Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ideally have certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
