SAP Fiori Functional Consultant

Your role

We are seeking an experienced UX / SAP Fiori Lead to drive user-centric design and front-end architecture across SAP landscapes. This role combines UX strategy, SAP Fiori/UI5 leadership, and full-stack integration expertise (BTP & ABAP) to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications.

You will bridge business needs, user experience, and technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration across Fiori, SAP BTP, and core SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

UX Strategy & Leadership

Define and lead the UX vision and Fiori design strategy

Drive Design Thinking, user journeys, personas, and usability improvements

Ensure adherence to SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and UX best practices

Act as a UX champion across stakeholders and delivery teams

Fiori / UI5 Architecture & Governance

Lead development of Fiori Elements & Freestyle UI5 applications

Define UI5 architecture, reusable components, and design systems

Govern coding standards, UI consistency, and UX quality

Drive scalable, modular, and performance-optimized UI solutions

Launchpad & Work Zone Leadership

Oversee Fiori Launchpad / Work Zone (Standard & Advanced) implementations

Define navigation, role-based access, and UX layout strategies

Ensure seamless cross-app user experience and accessibility compliance

Your profile

• Core Expertise

   

  Strong experience in SAP Fiori UX, UI5 (Elements & Freestyle)

  Deep understanding of SAP Fiori Design Guidelines & UX principles

  Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, UI5 customization & theming

   

   

   

  SAP & Technical Skills

   

  Experience with SAP BTP (CAPM), Cloud Foundry, BAS, Git

  Strong exposure to OData (V2/V4), CDS Views, API integration

  Working knowledge of ABAP, S/4HANA architecture

   

   

   

  Platform Experience

   

  Hands-on experience with SAP Work Zone / Fiori Launchpad

  Exposure to HANA DB modelling, XSJS, and application monitoring

   

   

  Preferred

   

  Certifications in SAP Fiori, UI5

  Experience with UX tools (Figma, SAP Build)

  Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and UI5 testing frameworks

   

   

  Success Metrics

   

  High adoption of intuitive Fiori UX solutions

  Strong UI consistency, performance, and scalability

  Mature UX governance and design standards

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. Full statutory entitlements, including the standard Superannuation Guarantee, apply.
