This is a unique opportunity within the Insights & Data (I&D) Global Business Line (GBL) to help grow the data, AI and Data Science engagements across all sectors in Australia and New Zealand. You will help shape and deliver complex projects and programs of work for our clients.  You will understand our client’s need to bring maximum value, impact, and innovation to the market as you oversee the delivery of client engagements for data and AI initiatives.
 
Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities:

Lead the design, delivery, and governance of SAP Datasphere solutions, including modelling, integration, and data pipelines, while providing oversight of SAP BDC processes within major SAP transformation programs.

• Lead Architect for SAP Business Data Cloud - Datasphere solutions.
• Leading Datasphere solution design and delivery across the implementation project.
• Build relational, analytical, and semantic models; develop ER models.
• Design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, ODP/SAP Extractor integrations, and CDS View-based ingestion.
• Integrate Datasphere with SAC and support BW/4HANA or BW Bridge landscapes.
• Define governance standards, security, lineage, cataloging, and operating models.
• Conduct workshops, solution demos, design reviews, and prepare design/test documentation.
• Lead offshore teams and support multi-country delivery.
• Provide expertise on SAP BDC processes for data load or migration scenarios.
• Deliver transition-to-support plans and ensure successful operational handover.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP Data & Analytics (BW 7.5, BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, BeX, AFO).
• Hands-on SAP Datasphere experience.
• Expertise in: Datasphere modelling (Relational, Analytical, Semantic), Entity Relationship modelling, SAP Extractors, ODP, CDS Views, BW/4HANA or BW Bridge (desirable)
• Experience in large SAP programs (S/4HANA, MDG, Group Reporting, SAC).
• Strong understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP and modern data engineering practices.
