Job Description

You as a Power Platform Consultant, you are responsiblle for design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, architect scalable solutions, and implement modern workplace capabilities leveraging Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Copilot.

You will play a key role in shaping enterprise digital transformation initiatives by delivering secure, high-performing, and user-centric solutions. This includes leading SharePoint migrations, implementing governance frameworks, and developing business applications that streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements to design tailored SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Develop and deploy applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and Copilot
  • Deliver innovative solutions using the latest Microsoft 365 capabilities and features

SharePoint & Migration Expertise

  • Plan and execute SharePoint migration strategies, including migration from on-premises and legacy platforms to SharePoint Online
  • Conduct content assessments, data mapping, and ensure minimal disruption during migration
  • Optimise information architecture and ensure governance alignment

Power Platform Development

  • Build robust applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)
  • Develop workflows using Power Automate, including business process flows and integrations
  • Configure Dataverse and integrate with various enterprise data sources
  • Design and implement custom connectors and automation solutions

Governance & Compliance

  • Implement Microsoft 365 governance frameworks, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and security models
  • Establish and manage Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE)
  • Ensure compliance with information management and organisational policies

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Faciliate workshops to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders
  • Deliver clear and engaging presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Documentation & Training

  • Produce high-quality documentation including:
  • Functional design documents
  • Solution architecture designs
  • As-built documentation
  • Create user training materials and deliver training sessions across various audiences

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in SharePoint development and consulting
  • Proven experience delivering projects across SharePoint, Teams, Viva, Copilot, and Power Platform
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint migrations (on-premises to SharePoint Online)
  • Hands-on experience in building Power Platform solutions:
    • Power Apps (Dataverse & SharePoint-based apps)
    • Power Automate workflows and integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise information architecture
  • Strong understanding of information management, governance, and compliance in M365
  • Experience with legacy tools such as SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Nintex Workflow
  • Proven capability in requirements gathering and delivering solutions for complex business scenarios
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment


Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Nintex and AvePoint migration tools
  • Development experience using:
  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, HTML/CSS
  • Experience designing enterprise-grade provisioning frameworks
  • Exposure to advanced M365 solutions including Viva and Copilot integrations
