Your Role

Join Capgemini as an Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our SAP and Microsoft practices. Ideally based in Melbourne, this hands-on position will allow you to leverage your proven experience in business operations—managing timesheets, supporting year-end reviews, and ensuring compliance—while thriving in a dynamic, fluid environment that demands adaptability. Working closely with Practice Heads and a collaborative Business Operations team, you’ll deliver seamless operational and financial processes. Other key responsibilities:

  • Prepare business review packs for Finance, including variance analysis and actual vs. forecast reporting.
  • Analyse results and KPIs against budgets to deliver actionable insights.
  • Manage monthly revenue and costs, ensuring compliance with timecard systems.

 

Business Operations at Capgemini ensures organisational efficiency by driving governance, compliance, and seamless coordination across functions. The team optimises workflows, monitors performance, and supports strategic initiatives to deliver consistent service quality, boost productivity, and align daily activities with long-term goals.

Your profile

  • Understanding of Financial Planning, Reporting and Accounting.
  • Understanding and ability to analyse operational parameters of a business.
  • Effective communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of 1-2 days in the office.
