Business Data Cloud / Datasphere Lead
Your role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud / Datasphere Lead to work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the SAP community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere solutions for an assigned client project within the Data & Analytics practice.
- Own the data platform workstream, translating business requirements into governed, reusable data models and data products while providing hands-on technical leadership.
Your profile
- Experience leading discovery and design workshops with business, SAP functional and enterprise data teams; define data requirements, integration patterns and acceptance criteria.
- Define the target BDC / Datasphere architecture, including spaces, connectivity, semantic modelling, data consumption, security and operational requirements.
- Experience assessing standard SAP data products and content against project needs; recommend activation, extension or custom development based on fit and supported capabilities.
- Experience in design and build ingestion, replication and transformation flows for agreed SAP and non-SAP sources; assess federation versus replication and delta-processing requirements.
- Lead SQL and graphical modelling, analytical models, associations and business semantics; ensure reconciled data, reusable definitions and appropriate performance.
- Coordinate integration with SAP Analytics Cloud and enterprise data platforms; validate supported interfaces, licensing and regional availability before committing designs.
- Own technical estimates, development standards, design reviews and delivery dependencies; guide onshore and offshore developers and resolve complex issues.
- Lead platform testing, performance tuning, transport and deployment readiness, production support handover and technical documentation.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
