Your Role
Senior Quality Test Engineer develops, maintains, and executes automated test suites to support UniSuper’s enterprise testing objectives of continuous quality with efficiency, focusing on regression stability and fast feedback across desktop, web, mobile, APIs, and data flows.
This role contributes to expanding and uplifting automation coverage using TOSCA and/or Selenium (C#) and supports automated execution within CI/CD pipelines
You will play a key role in:
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases across enterprise applications with strong regression focus.
- Develop automation scripts using TOSCA and/or Selenium (C#) aligned to agreed standards and structures.
- Execute automated suites as part of CI/CD pipelines, analysing failures and ensuring stable, repeatable results.
- Automate and validate API and integration scenarios; ensure coverage supports end‑to‑end flows.
- Perform data validation using ODS awareness and SQL DB queries to confirm integrity of integrated outcomes (e.g., sync results, reconciliation checks).
- Support automation uplift activities when business changes impact baseline suites (uplift and maintenance of impacted scripts).
- Identify and communicate automation risks, defects, and blockers via Jira/Confluence ways of working.
Your profile
- 8 + years of test automation experience
- Hands-on automation using TOSCA and/or Selenium with C
- Experience executing tests through CI/CD pipelines and understanding automated test gates
- SQL skills for data validation; familiarity validating outcomes in SQL DBs
- Working awareness of ODS and its role in supporting operational/transactional data shared across systems.
