Your Role

  • Design and implement scalable maintainable automated test frameworks using Java
  • Develop and automate API test cases using Postman and integrate them into CICD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define test strategies and ensure TDD practices are followed
  • Build and maintain Selenium based UI API automation suites
  • Analyze business requirements functional specifications and technical designs
  • Create detailed test plans test strategies and test cases
  • Define test scope test coverage and entry exit criteria
  • Analyze test results identify root causes of issues and work closely with developers to resolve them
  • Perform functional integration system regression and UAT testing
  • Execute manual test cases and record results
  • Work closely with developers product managers and business stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies daily standups sprint planning retrospectives
  • Leverage Tosca for model based testing and contribute to its adoption and optimization
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans test cases and test results
  • Continuously improve QA processes and advocate for automation best practices

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in manual testing quality assurance
  • Strong experience in web mobile or enterprise application testing
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Java based testing frameworks eg JUnit TestNG
  • Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and automation
  • Solid understanding and practical application of TDD methodologies
  • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and related tools
  • Familiarity with CICD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or similar
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: 
    - Experience with Tosca for model based testing
    - Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
    - Exposure to cloud based testing environments
    - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
