Test Automation Engineer

Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (Python).

• Build and enhance automation frameworks to support UI, API, and end‑to‑end testing.

• Analyze requirements, create test plans, and identify areas suitable for automation.

• Execute automated test suites and analyze results, reporting defects with clear documentation.

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

• Perform root‑cause analysis on test failures and proactively improve test coverage and reliability.

• Ensure best practices for automation coding standards and documentation.

• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of hands‑on automation testing experience, including at least 1+ year with Playwright.

• Knowledge or understanding in Python

• Solid understanding of test automation principles: page object model (POM), data‑driven testing, cross‑browser execution, etc.

• Experience testing web applications with modern UI frameworks.

• Familiarity with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
