Systems Engineer II (Online Workspace)
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex troubleshooting on a variety of employee workstation issues.
- Windows/Mac and related applications deep dive troubleshooting
- Optimize and customize the workstation OS environment to improve functionality and reduce support calls.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide documentation to support solution.
- Provide engineering documentation as well as employee documentation.
- Mentor Level I and Level II staff to improve troubleshooting and proactively identify issues and provide Level III escalation support.
- Work with peers who are in remote locations with collaborative tools.
- Work with SCCM/Mac engineers for Operating System installation and deployment and troubleshooting.
- Provide support in terms printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Android, iPhone, iPad support and configuration.
- Windows Wireless Support
- Multiple vendor desktop and laptop support
- Run or participate in testing of application or use cases presented by customer.
- Configures FFT (Fixed Functional Terminal)
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and applications such as MS Exchange, SQL, Active Directory.
- Advance knowledge and understanding of Networking.
- Skill in the identification of performance problems and implementation of solutions to correct performance problems
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with managing, supporting Mac OS X versions 10.11 - 12.3.1.
- Knowledgeable in managing and configuring and deploying Windows Group Policies.
- Windows Server 2016-2022 experiences
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Current Branch.
- Knowledgeable in Intune, Autopilot
