Solutions Architect

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Solution Architect with strong expertise in Java, AWS, and modern cloud-native architectures to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance banking and payments solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Cards & Payments, driving architecture, technology modernization, and engineering excellence across enterprise-scale programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and own end-to-end solution architecture for digital banking, cards, and payments platforms.

• Lead development teams and provide technical direction on architecture, design, coding standards, and best practices.

• Build cloud-native solutions using AWS services and microservices-based architectures.

• Define API strategies, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures using Kafka.

• Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, containerization, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects to deliver strategic solutions.

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

Your Profile

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in Technical Lead or Architect roles.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale BFSI transformation and modernization programs.

• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead distributed teams and drive solutioning from concept through delivery.

• AWS Cloud (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS)

• Solution Architecture & System Design

Secondary Skills:

• Microservices Architecture

• REST APIs, API Security (OAuth2/JWT)

• Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture

• DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

• Docker, Kubernetes

• React JS

• Oracle/PostgreSQL/NoSQL Databases

Domain Expertise

Preferred experience in:

• Credit, Debit, Commercial, or Prepaid Cards

• Payment Processing, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement

• Visa/Mastercard Ecosystems

• PCI-DSS, EMV, Tokenization, Fraud & Risk Management
