About
The Salesforce Developer will help in estimation, design and development of requirements set by the business team.
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions. Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
The Salesforce Developer will seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
The Salesforce Developer will define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
The Salesforce Developer will maintain a blend of responsibilities that span the spectrum of Administration, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities and Salesforce Integration to other systems. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Job Description
- Participating in strategic and tactical planning discussions to continuously improve the Salesforce.com platform
- Participating in integration designs and developments
- Configuring and maintaining the functional objects of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Vlocity
- Creating and managing workflow rules, data validations, triggers, and object customizations where required/appropriate
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
- Customizing Object fields, page layouts, record types, searching, list views, etc., (which may include, where appropriate, using Lightning, Visualforce and/or Apex)
- Managing operational requests and assisting in the escalated resolution of support issues, working with diverse user groups when required
- Creating and maintaining system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications
- Proactively identifying production risks and creating actionable mitigation plans
- Participating in the Agile development process where applicable/appropriate
Job Requirements
- 3-10 years of development experience in Salesforce with Force.com (Apex Classes, Triggers and Visual Force) implementation including Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, and other technologies to build customized solutions.
- Salesforce Developer certifications preferred
- Lightning components development experience is preferred
- Communities experience and experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Vlocity is required · Deep understanding of Salesforce.com technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements and all related policies and procedures
- Experience working with workflows and triggers to automate tasks
- Experience in writing Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, Visualforce pages, Aura Pages and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Web Components, others)
- Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX
- Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
- Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
- Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL/SOQL, Java/C++/OOP.
- Experience in Agile Framework.
- Ability to work and meet deadlines
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users.
- Technical project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
