Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Order Writer with a foundational understanding of telephony, PBX systems, and computing platforms, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. The ideal candidate will quickly learn to navigate multiple systems and tools essential for daily operations. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with clients and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and open incidents and requests in Service Now received via email and phone, ensuring all necessary information is accurately captured (e.g., priority level, phone number, user contact details, correct location, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with users and requesters through email, Teams, and phone calls.
- Follow instructions with minimal supervision and work independently.
- Utilize Excel and Word to create documents for technicians and maintain database records.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of Nortel/Avaya Blue PBX systems.
- Basic knowledge of Cisco Call Manager (IP PBX) and Cisco CUC (Voicemail).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Familiarity with Service Now.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of direct interaction with end-users and management.
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with U.S. Pacific Time (8 AM - 5 PM PST).
- General computer literacy and a basic understanding of computer networks.
