Exchange Engineer
Role Description

Work closely with vendors to resolve user and production issues.

Participate in operational support and on-call for a large enterprise messaging environment.

Troubleshoot Exchange on-premises servers and M365 messaging resources.

Generate operational documentation including change management paperwork
-
Maintain high morale to go above and beyond the minimum requirements

Work on multiple operational issues at one time
-
Provide support for ancillary messaging products including mobile management, faxing solution, and distribution list tools.

Perform other related duties as assigned

Provide support for release deployments in a 24x7 operations environment as required

Produce technical and operational documentation
Role Requirements
-
2+ years of experience managing the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of Exchange and Office365 Experience with mail routing.
- • 2+ years of experience managing an Exchange On-Premise environment

Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience

Demonstrate a customer focused attitude.

1+ Service Now or equivalent ticketing system experience

Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience

Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience

Minimum 2+ years of Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience is required

PowerShell scripting experience

Minimum 1+ years of PowerShell scripting experience is required

ITIL experience (preferred)

Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call after hour rotation environment

Good understanding of change management
-
Bachelor's degree is required for this position
