Exchange Engineer

Role Description

  • Work closely with vendors to resolve user and production issues.

  • Participate in operational support and on-call for a large enterprise messaging environment.

  • Troubleshoot Exchange on-premises servers and M365 messaging resources.

  • Generate operational documentation including change management paperwork

  • Maintain high morale to go above and beyond the minimum requirements

  • Work on multiple operational issues at one time

  • Provide support for ancillary messaging products including mobile management, faxing solution, and distribution list tools.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Provide support for release deployments in a 24x7 operations environment as required

  • Produce technical and operational documentation

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of Exchange and Office365 Experience with mail routing.

  • • 2+ years of experience managing an Exchange On-Premise environment
  • Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience

  • Demonstrate a customer focused attitude.

  • 1+ Service Now or equivalent ticketing system experience

  • Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide audience

  • Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience is required

  • PowerShell scripting experience

  • Minimum 1+ years of PowerShell scripting experience is required

  • ITIL experience (preferred)

  • Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call after hour rotation environment

  • Good understanding of change management

  • Bachelor's degree is required for this position
