Delivery Lead

Job Description

Experience as a fulltime Project Manager 10 years min preferably gained from a bank or financial institution
Experience in handling complex projects on financial applications is highlypreferred
Experience in PMIPRINCE2 PM framework andor Agile Scrum or Kanban methodology 2 years min
Project Management certification is a plus
Possesses excellent management and writtenverbal communication skills
Knowledgeable in Work Breakdown Structure Risk Management Issue Management and Dependency Management
Knowledgeable on platforms like Data Analytics and Master Data Management


Duties Responsibilities

Assists in prioritization of IT Projects as part of the business planning demand planning cycle for the Units
Work and collaborate with stakeholders and end users to plan and configure systems to develop solutions that will achieve needed objectives
Align with the Project Manager on the overall business outcomes for the modules and delivery timelines
Manages the kick off process ensuring all necessary resources are available in conjunction with business sponsor and that a robust project plan is in place
Monitors assigned projects as per client SDLC and Governance process
Tracks and reports project implementation progress and budgets to BTS andor ITSD management per the agreed frequency
Identifies and logs project issues Oversees the resolution process and escalates issues when necessary
Manages when necessary re scopes the projects and updates project plans accordingly
Manages the project closure ensuring all deliverables are achieved and documented and relevant lessons learnedcase studies are developed
Assists in selecting and ongoing management of vendorssuppliers for supporting selected projects
Facilitates vendor contracting payments
Harness project best practices ad contribute to the overall client knowledge base
Train new Delivery Managers with Project Delivery Processes


Skills Required

Service Management Understanding and appreciation of best practices on incident management problem management change management and service level management
Client Relationship Management Service Delivery Managers need strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients They should be able to understand client requirements manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process
Leadership They should possess leadership qualities to guide and motivate their team members This includes the ability to delegate tasks provide clear directions and inspire collaboration and teamwork
Project Management Service Delivery Managers often oversee multiple projects or initiatives They need strong project management skills to plan organize and coordinate resources timelines and deliverables
ProblemSolving Service Delivery Managers should be adept at analyzing complex situations identifying problems and proposing effective solutions They should have the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly to address servicerelated challenges
Financial Management They should have knowledge of budgeting cost management and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals
Continuous Improvement Service Delivery Managers should have a mindset of continuous improvement They should proactively identify areas for improvement implement process enhancements and drive efficiency in service delivery
Technical Knowledge While not always required to be handson with technical aspects having a good understanding of IT systems infrastructure and emerging technologies can be valuable in understanding the service delivery landscape and effectively communicate with technical teams"
