Collections Senior Associate
Job Description
The Collection Team Member contacts individuals with overdue accounts and conducts administrative activities to recover outstanding payments. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills for timely debt collection while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. Mentioned below are key duties:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or letters to collect outstanding debts.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment arrangements.
- Follow up on broken promises to pay and escalate unresolved cases.
- Maintain compliance with debt collection laws and company procedures.
- Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- at least 3 years of experience in Collections in a Shared Service or BPO industry
- must be a College graduate
- Good communication with and customer centricity
- Effective negotiation skills to drive collections
- Effective negotiation skills to drive collections
- Amenable to reporting onsite in McKinley West, Taguig
- Open to work following Australian shift
