Your Role  

Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.

  • Design and implement largescale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency scalability and observability
  • Define cloudnative strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
    Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
  • Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standardslifecycle

Your Profile

Core Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Platforms AWS IaaS PaaS Serverless Containers EKS Docker Kubernetes
    Databases Strong expertise in PostgreSQL plus experience with NoSQL DynamoDB DocumentDB
  • Infrastructure as Code Handson experience with Terraform GitLab CICD
    Microservices Containers Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions
  • DevOps Tools Jenkins GitLab and integration with various CICD tools
  • Application Design APIfirst and eventdriven architectures and prior handson experience with Kafka ecosystem
  • Observability Monitoring Familiarity with tools for logging metrics and tracing specially ELK and observe tools
    Soft Skills MustHave:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decisionmaking
  • Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments

    Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
  • Ability to own and drive projects endtoend in an Agile environment

    Good to Have
  • Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
  • Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards
  • Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
