Java Fullstack Developer
About the Job you are considering:
We are looking for a Java Full‑Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies such as React or Angular. The role involves building scalable microservices, working with AWS services, and delivering secure, high‑quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams while following best engineering practices including CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and agile methodologies.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
• Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions using Java 17, Spring Boot 3, and microservice‑based architectures.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, secure backend services, and cloud‑ready applications on AWS.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML5, TypeScript, and React.js or Angular.
• Apply enterprise design patterns and modern engineering best practices for performance and maintainability.
• Ensure robust application performance through memory and performance profiling.
• Work with pub/sub messaging platforms such as Kafka or MQ for distributed systems integration.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative design discussions to improve code quality.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and deliver seamless integration.
• Implement automated testing practices using JUnit, Jest, or Karma, following TDD/BDD.
• Contribute to continuous integration, automated deployments, and agile delivery cycles.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry trends while promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Your Skills
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot 3, REST services, JPA, Collections, Generics, Multithreading, and I/O Streams.
• Experience with frontend frameworks like React.js (v16+) or Angular (v10+).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system patterns.
• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, and IAM.
• Strong experience with Kafka or other messaging queues.
• Skilled in reading, writing, and debugging multithreaded code.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, GitLab, JIRA, IntelliJ IDEA, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, ideally MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in unit testing, code quality metrics, TDD/BDD development approaches.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of OpenShift or other cloud‑native platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication.
