Senior Business Analyst (Commerce)

About the role 

A Business Analyst for SAP Commerce is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable eCommerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful design, implementation, and rollout of digital commerce platforms. 

In this role you will play a key role in:  

• Lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design end-to-end customer journeys and functional solutions across the integrated SAP Commerce Cloud landscape.
• Provide SAP Commerce Cloud expertise, including configuration of core features (catalog, pricing, promotions, CMS, checkout) and collaboration on integrations (e.g., S/4HANA, CPI, payments, search).
• Support agile delivery by managing backlog, prioritization, and close collaboration with Dev, UX, QA, and architecture teams.
• Drive testing and quality (SIT/UAT), stakeholder engagement, documentation, and ensure governance, compliance, and solution alignment. 

Your Profile  

• 6–10 years of experience in eCommerce processes (B2B/B2C), including multi-country/multi-site rollouts.
• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) modules, architecture, and core capabilities (pricing, promotions, catalog, CMS, checkout).
• Exposure to SAP ecosystem integrations (S/4HANA, CPI/SCPI, OMS) and understanding of APIs, data models, and middleware concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills, with ability to work effectively in distributed (onshore/offshore) teams. 

Nice to have 

• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics.
• Exposure to SAP CX beyond Commerce (e.g., CPQ, CDC, Marketing Cloud).
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs.
