The Head of AI – SCE is accountable for leading and scaling Capgemini’s AI First agenda across the South Central Europe (SCE - France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland and Czech republic) driving measurable business growth, differentiated client outcomes, and world‑class AI delivery at scale.
This role owns the end‑to‑end SCE AI transformation lifecycle — from market positioning and demand creation to industrialised delivery and value realisation. Working closely with country CEOs, industry leaders, hyperscalers, and C‑suite clients, the role ensures AI is consistently embedded across solutions, operating models, and transformation programmes.
A core mandate is to ensure clients experience Capgemini’s AI capabilities as a coherent, high‑value European proposition — combining strategy, engineering excellence, responsible AI, reusable assets, and delivery rigor to generate predictable, scalable outcomes across all European markets.
This role will work closely with and will also have a report line into the I&D AI global practice, aligning on the global strategy for AI acceleration, and contributing to the success of that strategy in SCE.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & AI Positioning:

- Define and execute the SCE AI First strategy and multi‑year roadmap, aligned to global priorities and regional growth ambitions.
- Position Capgemini as a trusted AI transformation leader with clients, partners, regulators, and European industry forums.
- Partner with country and industry leadership to embed AI into offerings, GTM strategies, and investment priorities.
- Drive C‑suite level AI conversations focused on business value, operating model transformation, and measurable ROI.
Deal Leadership & Growth:

- Drive AI‑led revenue growth, pipeline development, and deal conversion across SCE.
- Lead and shape major SCE AI pursuits, providing executive‑level guidance on:
- AI architecture and engineering choices
- Agentic and generative AI integration
- Commercial and delivery models
- Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and Board‑level stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent adoption of industrialised AI delivery patterns, accelerators, and commercial frameworks across countries.
AI Delivery & Excellence

- Accountable for predictable, high‑quality delivery of large‑scale AI transformation programmes across multiple countries.
- Ensure delivery models enable speed, quality, reusability, and risk control.
- Embed strong engineering standards, platform thinking, and lifecycle governance across SCE AI engagements.
- Improve delivery margin, time‑to‑value, and client satisfaction on AI programmes.
AI‑Enabled Transformation

- Drive regional reuse of AI assets, accelerators, platforms, and patterns to accelerate outcomes and reduce delivery risk.
- Increase speed‑to‑value through proven, repeatable AI solutions.
- Foster innovation and co‑creation with clients, partners, and start‑ups to deliver industry‑specific AI solutions.
- Align industry, delivery, and platform teams to maximise scale and impact.
Ecosystem & Market Influence

- Strengthen Capgemini’s role within the SCE ystem, engaging with hyperscalers, academia, alliances, and public sector bodies.
- Contribute to thought leadership and represent Capgemini at key industry events.
Governance & Responsible AI

- Ensure compliance with Group‑wide AI governance, ethics, security, and regulatory standards.
- Support clients in navigating SCE AI regulation and emerging compliance requirements.
- Maintain strong oversight across AI engagements.
Essential Experience

- Senior leadership experience in AI, digital, cloud, or large‑scale technology transformation.
- Proven success leading multi‑country or multi‑disciplinary teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong track record of winning and delivering enterprise‑scale transformation programmes.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence senior client and partner stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, architectures, engineering practices, and cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead across geographies within a global delivery model.
- Background in consulting or professional services.
- Current residence in Spain, Portugal or Italy
Desirable Experience
- Experience engaging with European regulators or industry bodies.
- Strong understanding of SCE markets, cultural dynamics, and the technology landscape
