Senior Legal Specialist

As a Senior Legal Specilalist in the IP department of Capgemini's head office legal department, you will work in a dynamic international environment and liaise with commercial and legal teams located throughout the world.

Your Role

Under the supervision of the Group IP Officer, you will be in charge of advising the business and local legal teams on copyright, trademarks, design rights and NTIC, specifically:

• Provide legal support on IP Licensing deals to local legal teams
• Prepare other IP related contracts for our Marketing and Communication teams
• Perform legal assessment of the group’s assets from an IP perspective (conduct Name clearance, OSS Clearance, third-party clearance).
• Propose and define the most appropriate IP protection for assessed assets
• Manage part of the Group’s IP portfolio
• Manage disputes relating to the Group’s soft IP rights with external counsel
• Prepare and provide training on IP/IT to the business
• IP law and regulation monitoring

Your profile

• Master degree in Intellectual Property
• 3 to 6 yrs of effective experience in Intellectual Property in the legal department of an international company or in a law firm.
• Fluent in professional English (written and oral)
