A Staffing Manager is responsible for managing staffing communications and actions for their assigned talents. They oversee all staffing related activities within a Practice.
Depending on the size of a practice they can work in a team or autonomously. Based on this, a Staffing Manager reports to the Practice Head or to a more senior Staffing Manager. When Staffing Managers work in a team, there will be designated SPOCs for market units.
Responsibilities
Staffing Managers are responsible for fulfilling staffing demands and matching the demand with the talents based on their skills and capabilities. To fulfill client demands they will cast, short-list and allocate talents. They are responsible to activate the suitable sourcing channels internal talent pool, cross staffing and freelancing. Furthermore, they are responsible for scheduling capacity versus incoming demands, rotations, replacement and renewals. Staffing Managers also assess and act on scenarios to optimize utilization of local bench. They are responsible for managing staffing communications and actions for their assigned talents. If necessary, a Staffing Manager is the first person to escalate potential fulfillment challenges as per the escalation process.
The Head Staffing Manager is responsible for managing the team of Staffing Managers in the Practice and supervises tactical workforce planning activities.

Other Staffing Managers and Talent Deployment Heads, to foster cross staffing and optimize global bench. They also work together on replacement management, talent transition and talent onboarding and procurement, to align and follow up on requests that need to be fulfilled through one of these channels
