Finance Compliance Controller

Your role

 

As a Finance Compliance Controller, you will play a key role in strengthening the financial control environment across Spain and Portugal. You will work closely with finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure compliance, improve processes, and support continuous transformation initiatives.

 

  • You will execute testing and oversight of financial compliance controls.
  • You will monitor the financial control environment and identify potential risks.
  • You will perform risk and control assessments and support remediation actions.
  • You will coordinate activities with operational and finance stakeholders.
  • You will prepare and submit compliance reports aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • You will support internal and external audit activities.
  • You will maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • You will monitor compliance KPIs and data quality metrics.
  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, including the adoption of AI-driven solutions.

 

Your profile

 

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Finance Compliance, Internal Audit, or External Audit roles.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI-based tools to improve financial processes.
  • Understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a Big Four consulting or audit firm is highly valued.
