3DExperience E2E Testing Consultant

The Digital Continuity & Manufacturing (DC&M) team at Capgemini Engineering specializes in providing strategic solutions for the digitalization of engineering and industrial processes, ensuring digital continuity throughout the entire product lifecycle from design to maintenance. We focus on optimizing operational efficiency and driving innovation through the integration of advanced technologies such as automation, industrial IoT, and digital twins, helping companies adapt quickly to the market and maintain a competitive edge.

 

We are looking for an E2E Testing Consultant with experience in manual testing, defect management, and functional validation within PLM or 3DX environments. Able to work under structured governance and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Test Execution & Functional Validation
  • Execute manual tests following test plans defined by the Testing Leader.

  • Perform functional validation of UI behaviour, data integrity, workflows, and permissions.

  • Run automated test scripts prepared by the Testing Leader or automation team.

  • Reproduce issues with clear functional steps for analysis and escalation.

 

  1. Test Preparation & Scenario Support
  • Contribute to test case and scenario preparation based on requirements.

  • Ensure availability of test data and proper environment setup.

  • Verify test scenarios align with end‑to‑end PLM process flows.

 

  1. Defect Management & Reporting
  • Log defects with evidence and replication steps.

  • Track defect resolution and perform retests.

  • Support the Testing Leader in building test reports and dashboards.

  • Highlight blocking issues, risks, and dependencies.

 

  1. Coordination & Communication Support
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, business users, and functional consultants.

  • Communicate test execution status and issues.

  • Maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence.

 

  1. Agile / SAFe Participation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.

  • Align test execution with sprint and PI objectives.

 

  1. Environment & Infrastructure Awareness
  • Navigate Linux/Unix and Windows environments during testing.

  • Validate environment stability following Testing Leader guidance.

  • Understand high‑level 3DX architecture and its impact on test flows.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Experience in manual testing, scripting and functional validation.

  • Software programming background, experience in Java, Javascript, ProsgreSQL

  • Knowledge of Linux will be ideal

  • Familiarity with PLM processes (structures, workflows, change management).

  • Strong documentation and defect management habits.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and structured testing workflows.
